....of the CT etsy street team? I have a neighbor on etsy who might like to join up. She's a sweetheart, her shop is "Felt So Cute" and she does hair accessories.

I know I've been an "invisible" or even NON participant for a while, but I've had a lot going on. (yeah excuses, excuses....!) Anyhow I just re-vamped my etsy shop (Ok8e) and blog http://ok8edesigns.blogspot.com/, if anyone is interested in what I'm doing. (Please follow me if you are so inclined, I feel silly writing into a black hole but after a good bit of advice from those who "know" I do feel I need a blog and I'm sorta starting from scratch!)

On another note, for the first time ever I rented a space at Brimfield for the May show (week before last) and it was AWESOME. I highly recommend it to any of you who do anything vintage. It was hard work but I loved it and learned a lot and even made money after all the expenses. If there is anyone here who'd be up for sharing a space for the September show, contact me and let's talk!

My kids and other obligations have kept me from being able to participate in any of the shows and/or events you guys have been emailing about, but I hope to be more active in the future. I'm even up for hosting some sort of event/sale but that wouldnt be until the fall season.....

I'm going to post this to the email list too, I have this feeling this blog doesnt get read too often....

I just got a call from a mom at my son's old school asking if I could help her find vendors for their Fall Fair. It's at the Housatonic Valley Waldorf School in Newtown CT on Friday evening Nov. 20th 7-10 for adults only shopping and then Sat. 21st 11 - 4 for everybody. This is an indoor fair. Back to School

Well, it's the second day of school around here, the weather has cooled off and the sun is shining. My son is a high school freshman now so we're all getting a much earlier start which suits me fine. I'm not a big fan of summer and I always feel a renewed sense of energy and creativity when September comes around. At present I'm painting, having started a series of carousel horses from the New England Carousel Museum. The museum is in Bristol CT and a wonderful day trip rather you're a carousel buff or not. They also have a small fire museum upstairs. If I make enough progress to have something worth posting I'll add it later today. Hats and crochet are on hold for now because I need new paintings for the Greene Gallery. Just as well since I gave myself a bad case of CTS in my left wrist by working on a scarf I designed. Very pretty but the motif has a load of square stitches and ,worse yet, bullion stitches. Doing so many at once was a bad idea.

New Home?

Hey Gang!

Thought I'd let you all know... my husband and I are 1 step shy of going under contract on purchase of our first house! We're awaiting the sellers' signatures on the paperwork, now that we've accepted their counteroffers. We've got a good house inspector lined up, a paralegal to talk to, and a friend who works for a mortgage institution helping us out. So far, all the ducks are in a row, except for that thing about packing... ick. :)

But yes, very exciting, and we're looking forward to changing our residency from Norwich to Colchester, and settling in to a great house, if all goes well.

My Inaugauration Experience

Ok, my sewing expertise has taken me many places, but this by far was the coolest. Because of my association with The Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps, I was able to attend the Inauguration Ceremonies and parade this past Tuesday. Our day started at 2:30 am for the trip from southern NJ into Washington. Arrival at 4:30 am in Kennedy Stadium was eventful to say the least. Thousands of buses full of excited people emptied into the parking lots, waiting for shuttles to take us into the city. Most of the city mass transit wasn't available because the walking traffic took over the streets as expected. The grid of Washington was changed to accommodate millions of people attending on foot, and walking was what we did for sure. Miles and miles. We entered the Washington Mall quite early, to see that thousands were already there at 5 a.m. Our eventual destination was the parade route, so onward we went. There were giant screens all over the city so you could view the events live. We located the security check points we would have to pass through to get to the parade route, got in line and was quickly told that the line "started down there". I looked in that direction, and didn't move. There were tens of thousands of people all over the place....what line I thought. We stayed where we were, passed through Secret Service Security, and found our place on the parade route at about 10 a.m. We waited in the coldest, windiest conditions I have ever experienced. I ski. In blizzards. On great big mountains full of snow. This didn't compare. Every part of my body shook. My nose ran like water. I couldn't even answer my phone because my hands wouldn't move. My kneecaps clattered. The only way to make my body stop shaking was to tense up, and over 6 hours of this, my entire body hurt. Finally the parade started and it was everything I expected. Police lined up by the thousands, Marines lining the parade route, crazy cool snipers on the building tops high above us, people of every race, religion, color and age waiting to view their image of hope for the future pass by. I, however, just waited for my Cadets. I am still on the fence about politics, and all of the ongoings of Washington, but the sheer number of people attending was quite impressive. As each unit of performers, military units, politicians, and floats passed by it got colder and colder, yet we stayed. Finally The Cadets passed, in beautiful fashion. A group of under 21 youth gathered from all over the world for this historical event. I was choked up with pride. They sacrificed so much to be here. The wait was worth it. Would I do it again? Yep, in a heartbeat........but I would definately wear more layers.

I am simply shocked at the rush of emails I've recieved today. As an early member of this team, but one who has been somewhat inactive the past few months, I really thought we had a strong and vibrant team. But this...today, is distressing to say the least.
One wonders, as a group of professionals, if issues of discord could not have been handled a bit more professionally. I can see there is quite a bit of dissent, differences of opinion, even outright anger, but we're a team. Can't we do this better? Must the whole team be dragged through this?
If the situation seems untenable to some, perhaps a second team is an option, or like was suggested, a committee. But to read some of the emails flying about, you would think we were the U.S. Congress. I've met many of the early members of the team, and I found you all to be gentle spirits full of kindness and comraderie. But honestly, today I am aghast. Perhaps I don't know all of the details, but unless millions of dollars are at stake, or the future of some of our businesses (as is the case with the CPSIA issue looming over many of us), I think a little perspective and softening of rhetoric is called for.
Whatever has been accumulating of late, I wish and hope for you all to step back and look at what the real issues are, and approach them a little more professionally. Otherwise no one, no matter how good they think they are, will be able to lead a team of this size.
Jillain started this team, and worked very hard to get it going. NO ONE on Etsy was more supportive of me when I started. She felt it hard when things didn't work out well. She deserves just a bit of gratitude and respect, whether you think she is the right leader or not.

Wondering if anyone has been as a vendor or as a buyer and what it is like. Is it worthwhile to sign up for? Hard to judge on some of the summer fairs if they are worth going to and i would hate to commit to 3 days and have it be a bust. So I wanted something I could make to go with some yummy esty soaps I'm giving to the ladies in my family. Of course I have 36 tupperware gallons worth of felted sweater scraps, so I made these. Cozycoleman showed me the tutorial (there's lots of them), and I was hooked! It's so simple, from one square of knitting or felt, and two ears, plus stuffing. A fun snowbound kinda project, and kids can do it!

Hello Team! Rebecca here. I know I'm not the most active member. I recently became aware of something that will be in effect as of February 10, 2009 barring something unforeseen and will affect the business of countless Etsy sellers and small businesses.

This summer, H.R 4040, put forth by the CPSC, was signed into law. It aims to get hazardous chemicals out of children's toys, clothes, furniture, etc. (There some exclusions, but it's not very clear to me.) This sounds good. It requires that ALL, products marketed to or intended for children 12 and under be tested. The cost of the tests, which would have to be done for each product type/model (every blue ball, red ball, green barrette, orange barrette) could easily reach into the thousands of dollars. The supplier's test will not suffice. The end manufacturer will be responsible for obtaining their own certification.

Etsy canNOT help here. They are a venue, with sellers from around the globe. We are individually responsible for following our country's guidelines as is stated in their terms of use. (see section 5- Restricted Activities then #5 in that list.)

Attention can and must be brought to this, to the effect it will have on sellers on Etsy, eBay and beyond or independently and therefore our already struggling economy. It is possible it will can even affect the sale of such items at thrift stores and garage sales.

There are several links that I have found helpful. You will find them below. Please, even if you are not a maker of items specifically for children, I hope you will take some time to look this over and pass it along. We need to work together on this.

So if anyone has any ideas on how to get the word out, about what this bill, as it stands now, will do to small businesses and craftspeople, feel free to post, comment. I'm not exactly sure how to proceed. Feel free to repost this info on your blog(s), Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, etc. Maybe get it out to the news media, with emphasis on small business. At its core, I think the bill means well. I'm completely for protecting kids. But I think this act will harm kids, with all the parents whose livelihoods will be at risk.

It may be raining, cloudy and quite poopy out in CT, but I think back not too long ago (2 weekends ago) when all the trees still had beautiful leaves on them before the wind and rain storm this past Saturday kicked them off. Damn you wind and rain!

Super Star Sewing!!

My sewing students recently entered their items into the Durham Fair for judging, and every one of them won a blue ribbon for their garments and two of them won best of show in their category!! I am so proud of them. We entered a skirt and top outfit, purses, aprons, and one student entered a huge bean bag chair she made. They are soooo psyched!! Maybe someday we'll see them on Etsy! Anyway, here's one of the youngest modeling her bathrobe, pj's and hair skrunchie. Yep, this s one of the "best of show" winners. This one is exceptionally talented...I didn't do a thing to this outfit, it's all done by her! She truly amazes me. You'll probably meet her at the Holiday Spectacular...she loves to come to my fairs with me!

For those of you who may not read group messages, I'm putting together a holiday lookbook (similar to this) of our team member's items.

In keeping with the holiday sale, I'm going to make deadline for submission November 20th so it's ready for posting on Black Friday. Submissions should be sent via email, not posted on the blog or blog comments.

At this point, let's start with 2 submissions per person. Send me the photos (or just tell me which etsy listings you'd like me to grab photos from) and descriptions with prices. Depending on spacing and number of entries, understand that descriptions may be edited or removed all together.

This is my Wild Columbine Photograph necklace

I made the frame for the photo using Art Clay Silver.

My original photograph is encased in epoxy so it is sturdy and waterproof. I've been using sterling silver wire instead of chain. I think it looks cleaner. This piece is not in my Etsy shop - yet... It will be by the end of the week!

Nice To 'See' You Guys Last Night!

When I heard about the online meeting, I was sceptical. Being a computer novice barely able to make my Etsy shop look pretty - the thought of a team meeting taking place in a virtual room in real time messed with my little brain!
Turns out, it all really made sense! It was eerily intimate - like everyone was really there goofing off as usual (you know who you are!). The polls were a great idea too. I think face to face meetings are very very important as it's sometimes difficult to know the tenor of a discussion without the benefit of body language. Personally though, I think this is a fantastic way to keep the team motivated and cohesive in between meet & greets, meetings, and events!

I participated in a craft fair this past weekend and you wouldn't think that there was any type of recession in my area of displays! Two jewelry sellers did quite well, a fleece fashion seller and my litter bags. We were all very happy at the end of the day! I got a few more invites for fairs, so I'll spend the week going through them and choosing wisely. I hope my future fairs are as successful.

Happiness is a clean car....and one of my designer auto litter bags. Come see them at the Holiday Spetacular in December and help someone clean up their car!!!

I got a brief shout out in a Storque article on mischief night and Halloween hooligans. Guard your house with Cthulhu and you won't have to worry about hooligans. The great Old Ones will happily devour them.

My house shall be well guarded as I'm working on a Cthulhu themed model railroad engine. It may qualify as Geekiest Thing Ever. Work in progress pictures soon!

National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

As you all know, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I realize I'm a bit early but a friend recently diagnosed with breast cancer is having a benefit this weekend and I wanted to have some pieces ready. Part of the proceeds will be donated to various breast cancer awareness & support organizations. Is anyone else doing anything for NBCAM? I've never been able to get a treasury - my timing is horrible - but maybe if we have other CT etsians supporting the cause, we can put something together? In any event, one of my items is pictured in this post. Go to my listing for more info on the organizations who'll receive donations. Lauren and I will be at the Meet the Artists and Artisans event this weekend on the Milford Green from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. (Directions: I-95 North exit 37 [High St.] ; I-95 South exit 39A ; Merrit Parkway exit 54 to NY , go right. Follow Yellow Artist/Artisan Arrow Signs to the Green.)

My friends who came to see us were really impressed with the quality and diversity of your crafts! I'd also like to thank you Etsians who came out to support us! A Juicy Apple Festival in Monroe

Despite Hurricane Hanna scaring away vendors for Saturday's event (including me!) the Apple Festival on the Monroe Green had a busy day on Sunday. Sponsored by St. Peter's Episcopal Church, the scheduled two-day festival drew approximately 50 crafters from all over New England, offering a wide variety of crafts and products, plus several stands of apple concoctions -- cider, pies, carmel apples -- staffed by church members. Helpers from the church came around to lone crafters to offer them a break or to fetch lunch; this was a saving grace for me.

It was my first time as a vendor at the fair and I was impressed with the attendance. People were everywhere, looking and buying. Many vendors commented they did well. Of all the outdoor shows I've done over the past several years, this was the most profitable for me. Well advertised, well organized and lots of fun.

I would highly recommend this church-run craft festival for Etsy members who participate in outdoor shows. It is held the first weekend after Labor Day.

24th Annual Wethersfield Cornfest

Today has been a rather productive day for me as I gear up for the 24th Annual Wethersfield Cornfest next Saturday, September 13th from 10:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. The Cornfest is being held in Old Wethersfield, CT on the famous Broad Street Green.

This will be my first time at this show so I am really excited to see what the crowd will be like as it is known to draw thousands of visitors each year. Old Wethersfield is such a beautiful historic town that it will be nice to be in such a quaint spot.

Wethersfield, founded in 1633-34, has its niche in history, being the oldest town in Connecticut. (Anyone who lives in Connecticut knows that this is a battle between Wethersfield and Windsor, which also proclaims the same - as I am from Windsor I have to side with my town on this one).

For a little historic trivia - in May 1781, at the Webb House on Main Street, Washington and Rochambeau planned the battle of Yorktown, which culminated in the independence of the then rebellious colonies.

Antiquity Ring

This past Sunday I created this ring. I designed this ring for myself. I waited patiently for my kiln to cool so that I could try it on. To my dismay, I created it a size smaller than what I normally wear. So what brings me sadness will hopefully bring someone else lots of joy.

I was able to photograph it today after work. By the time I arrived home from work there was just enough sun left.

This ring was created with Art Clay Silver. Art Silver Clay is a combination of fine silver (.999 silver), organic binders and water. After firing it in my kiln, the organic binders dissipate and what is left is 99.9% fine silver.

I also created the dichroic glass that serves as the focal point of this ring. A layer of dichroic glass was placed on a base of green glass.

This ring is a hair shy of 3/4" in length. It is a solid ring and perfect for someone who likes to wear a bold ring.

It is a size 6.

I just wanted to let all of you know that I'm now selling professionally made rubber stamps in my Etsy Shop. I have a many designs to choose from and I add at least one new design a day. I can also create a design especially for you, or use your current logo/font style as well. I have been listing only wood handled stamps, but I also carry self inking and art mounted....Oh and there are cloth stamps too...a nice alternative to fabric labels.

OUR TRAVELING GREEN SHOW!

Hey Everybody!
Our Traveling Green Show has been a great success! Shoppers and reporters have come to each one of our shows trying to find out who the CT Etsy Team is and buying our crafters handmade organic wares!

Now I'm sure some of you are wondering what is the Traveling Green Show? Well initially this came about as an idea for an individual craft show that we would have called The Green Show. Artists from the CT etsy Team would have participated by bringing hand made items out of organic, recycled and up-cycled materials. But I started thinking about how one show wasn't going to do much for trying to make indie craft buyers and sellers more eco-friendly. So I thought about a TRAVELING Green Show. But I couldn't figure out how to book "tour dates" without getting super expensive! THEN it hit me like a ton of bricks! FARMER"S MARKETS!

So I began to email a ton of market masters with my proposal. And the rest has since become our Traveling Green Show!

Our Next Dates will be :

The Fight Against MS!

It's been a busy couple of weeks with shows, but I am finally starting to add some new listings to my store. I just finished this week in Colchester and I have to say they had a really diverse of crafters. From soapmakers to Potters to Quilts and Fibers and last but not least jewelery. On August 1st and August 2nd I will be at the Gledhill Nursery in West Hartford. If you are in the area, please stop by.

Hi-my name is Amy and I have just recently joined the CT street team. Thanks for having me, I'm excited about meeting fellow Etsy sellers. I have had a shop for about a year and a half now. I focus on making purses, mostly from recycled/reused materials. I use denim jeans and wool sweaters for most of them. I also have a huge stash of material I have acquired over the years from different sources that I can use. So I consider myself a "green " shop. I try not to use new materials to create. My shop is pompompurses.etsy.com .
I work full time outside of house so my pocketbooks take a back seat usually to other things but I do try to devote a couple nights a week and sometimes sneak in a rainy weekend day sewing. I live in Seymour with my family, one husband, three kids, one dog. I love to cook , garden and take pictures. I'm hoping to be able to participate in the farmers markets that I saw listed, I actually drove by the sign for the Sandy Hook one but was on my way to work that day :( and couldn't stop by. I do have a blog but have not posted in months, maybe this will inspire me to be more diligent!

Like many other jewelrymakers (and all crafters I suppose) I am a total packrat.
I finally opened a destash shop on etsy , username beadplace. Here is a mini of some of what is going on there. Lots of dichro cabs,vintage findings and natural stones and crystals.

I was thinking maybe one of our in person meetings could be a swap meet ... or even one of our public group shows could have a section for supplies... hey share the joy! The public would like to buy stuff to make their own goodies too!

FurFright looking for panalists

FurFright is a Halloween themed anthropomorphics convention in Waterbury October 17th-19th. They are currently seeking submissions to their conbook, panelists, and donations to the charity auction.

The con book showcases Halloween themed anthropomorphic art and writing. Around 900 copies of the conbook will be produced. They're also looking for ACEO sized artwork for their convention badges.
Guidelines for art submission. Written work must be 1000 words or LESS. full written work guidelines

As to panels, they're looking for people to give a presentation/workshop on something vaguely on the convention's topic. So anything art, Halloween, or animal themed. There's a lot of costumers who attend, so if you're a sewing fiend, showing off your mad skills may go over well.

I normally run a panel for the Rage CCG where I teach folks to play. I've also done panels on getting started with sculpture and creating art for collectible card games.

Some examples of panels from past conventions:
Dance Dance Revolution tournament (including competing in costume), Performing in Costume, Intro to Puppetry, Creating Historical Costumes, Drawing and Painting Fur, Mythology of the Wolf & Werewolf, Design Tattoos, Everything you wanted to know about Ferrets as Pets, Palm Reading, Writing Realistic Characters, and Frankenfursuit (like Project Runaway, but creating hideous monster costumes on a deadline).

So everything from how-to panels to keeping unusual pets. If you want to show off your stuff, or your unusual critters, you can sign up to be a panelist here

They are also seeking donations to the charity auction which will benefit New Leash on Life of Stratford and Pays De L’ours (French only) which is seeking to save the last 20 Pyranese brown bears. Want to donate something? Contact Riismo at auction2008 AT furfright DOT org

Good morning team! Here's a little update from my neck of the woods ...

I was able to shoot some new nature photos last week and plan on uploading more to my shop in the next few days. Below is an awesome dragonfly that constantly posed for me until I got the photo just right.

Next is a new photo greeting card I am offered in my new wedding series. I hope to continue to shoot more wedding-inspired themes for future greeting cards.

And finally, here's one of my newer suncatchers... this one with an 18 mm aurora borealis heart crystal prism, faceted and dyed shell beads, and a stone (fetish) blackbird.

I'll repost what I posted on my blog.

Yep, I did my first show. All the angst and sweat and tears...okay, there weren't any tears, but all the work, I think was worth. It was supposed to be me and some Etsyans, but they weren't able to make because of the weather. (IMO, weather in CT has gotten incredibly spotty. It wasn't bad where I live/show was) In fact, it had been cancelled, but I was in such a zone, I didn't check my email until I got back.

I will call it a success! I should two pairs of earrings. Got a lot of lookers, handed out some business cards and got a lot of compliments. I'm talented! I really started to believe it when I made a floor length tablecloth in one day with no pattern, just a yardstick, a seamstress' tape measure, marking pencil and 7 yds of clearance fabric.

And as a sort of celebratory present, my business cards came. I like them a lot. Their niceness makes up for the fact that they weren't here in time for this show. I'll have to get a pic of them tomorrow.

Hello, my name is Tony and I'm new to Etsy as well as online sales. After living in Virginia for many years while serving in the United States Navy, I relocated with my family to north east Connecticut. After all, I was born and raised in New England. This is home!

At this point I'm concentrating on my pyrographic works. For me, pyrography is great creative outlet. At times I find it very therapeutic. When the pressures of daily life build up, I get lost in my work and find myself renewed. My journey into the world of pyrography started a little over a two years ago. Due to a disability I found myself "restricted" to the house and not able to do many things I once enjoyed. I needed something clean, quiet, and creative. While searching the net a few years back I found a great site called "The Woodburner." This was just the thing I needed. Once you get the "burning bug" you can't stop!

Recently my wife and friends suggested I find an outlet to sell my work. My wife especially. I've been given subtle hints more than once by her. Usually it's "Dear, we're running out of wall space." In response I just smile and say "Yep, I know." So after researching places like Ebay, I was informed about Etsy by another member Tia http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5704640
I weighed the pros and cons against other sites and here I am.

I must admit that I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the things going on here. I've been reading forums, checking out the storque, teams, chats, and everything else available. I'm not even sure if this is the right "spot" to post this :) Like the old adage "Nothing ventured, nothing gained" I'm jumping right in! I feel this will be a great beginning to share my works with others (and make some money to boot).

I understand that just opening a shop will not guarantee sales. The current economic environment, subject matter of my works, creating the right "shop look", visual presentation, and other factors will greatly influence my success. I would like to expand and get more exposure. I'm currently looking into starting a "Blog." This will help in getting my shop "out there", as well as letting me share some "How To's" concerning pyrography and also offer some interesting anecdotes dealing with my time in the Navy, as well as other experiences. I think knowing the artist helps buyers "connect" not only with his/her works but also with the person.

Joining the CT Etsy Team is a great start. Although I don't get out much, I will be happy to help where I can. I'm happy for any and all suggestions that will help make this a successful venture. You can be quite sure I'll be bugging the other CT Etsy Team members for help. At any time if I get to be a "pain in the a**", just let me know. A Craft Show to Save Some Pups!

Puerto Rico, go ahead and Google it. Metacrawl all over it. You'll find that it is a tiny island about the size of Connecticut. You'll view loads of pictures of the bluest water, lush palm trees, and beautiful cultural events. Ok, now look up Barceloneta, Puerto Rico. You'll find headlines that scream "Pet Massacre" and "Animal Cruelty". (See http://nytimes.com/2008/03/09/us/09dogs.html) Bet you weren't expecting that.

Unfortunately acts of animal cruelty are not a rare occurrence in any part of Puerto Rico. For example, in October of 2007 over 80 pets from a low income housing development were seized. Owners were told there was now a no pets allowed rule. Dogs and cats would be placed in a shelter and await adoption. Instead the beloved pets were thrown off bridges to their deaths. This act brought about global attention. People began protesting Puerto Rican tourism.
Heading west to Yabucoa, P. R. and you'll find a place called Dead Dog Beach. Dogs poisoned by locals and hoteliers litter the beach, ridding them of these unwanted street dogs or Satos as they are known in Spanish. You'll also see dogs sliced by machetes or who've had hot oil poured on them, or have simply died of mange and starvation help to give this beach it's namesake. Sadly, these stories go on and on.
The island only has about 7 animal shelters that service the entire region. Euthanasia rates are at 98% since these shelters receive close to 100 unwanted dogs a day.

In March I took a trip to Puerto Rico. I must have seen 50 strays while visiting. I'm still haunted by the number of dogs that need help. I was able to save one. A little Bichon Frise who had been kept in a tiny dark hole who had obviously been neglected. But this just wasn't enough to sooth my breaking heart. Upon my arrival home I contacted my long time friend CT Etsy Team leader, Jillian Lyons aka Ms. Kitty Fantastico, to please use her gifts to organize a fund raiser. So here we are , and more importantly, here YOU are.

We have created a small grass roots organization called Project: Puppy. Our goal is to raise as much money as possible to help get as many of these dogs healthy, kenneled and adopted. We are working in conjunction with The Amigos de los Animales out of Puerto Rico, our contact being Elizabeth Kracht, director of The Amigos. ( http://www.amigosdelosanimalespr.org )

On Sunday July 13th, our grass roots organization Project: Puppy will be holding an Indie Craft Show at The Space 295 Treadwell Street Hamden CT from 10 am - 3 pm. Free goody bags will be handed out to the first 150 attendees through the doors. We also have several raffle items that have graciously been donated by artists and small businesses from all over the world. Raffle tickets are available for only $1 each. There will also be a table representing our organization with hand crafted items from both myself and Ms. Kitty Fantastico as well as information on how you can further donate or get involved. The show will feature both artists from the Ct Etsy Team as well as local crafters, many of which will be donating some of their profits to our cause.
100% of our proceeds will be going to the search and rescue efforts of The Amigos.

Kaboogie Signs?

Hiya my favorite etsyans!!

I just got a convo with reaction to my very first custom sign. She loved it! I've done a couple of others, but this was my first for another person!! I wanted to share it with you as I am offering them for others now! I was told they wouldn't be too much to ship (or even deliver), in one of those funky triangle shaped boxes, but I will be bringing one to the P.O. to make sure. These are 8" by about 4-5 ft, and hang on the front bars of an EZ up canopy. I liked that mine didn't blow around, it stayed put on a pretty windy day. Thanks for looking!
